Consider this a creative variation of a BLT sandwich. In this case I skipped the L (lettuce). I love fried green tomatoes with a spicy remoulade. Having purchased some , with a slab of hickory bacon , the creative juices were flowing.I posted about Fried Green tomatoes before. Paired with a sweet and spicy remoulade, this sandwich is full of tangy zip. So if you like fried green tomatoes and want an usual sandwich, try this . If you don’t eat bacon , try substituting turkey bacon instead. Enjoy.

Friedn green tomatoes are something I love but not readily available. I will need to ask the farmers if they can bring me a few:D Love this twist on a BLT Coco.

You are my hero. The BBQ joint near our house has a Fried Green BLT sandwich (seasonal only) and I just love it. I love fried green tomatoes enough to skip the Bacon, but not the lettuce, I like the water from the lettuce in my sandwiches its cool and crisp….
Thanks for the recipe, now I have to search out some green tomatoes this weekend…..

I haven’t had fried green tomatoes in forever. This sounds SO good. But everything is good with sriracha on it, right? ;)

This recipe reminds me of the time I picked all of my grandmother’s tomatoes because I’d heard about fried green ones. She was not too happy! But the recipe looks yummy. Thank you for bringing back a fun memory.
